 Rebuilding European competitiveness in the field of Air Transport will be the central topic of the forthcoming international conference to be held in Bratislava on 26th May 2006.
2nd ANNUAL AIR TRANSPORT CONFERENCE for CSEE, to be organised by EastEuro Link, will bring together industry leaders and governmental representatives who will tackle the vital topics of this sector such as:
the state of air transport in the CSEE region, governmental efforts to promote air transport along with economic growth, integration into EU market and many more.
Both traditional and low cost airlines will be present at this major regional event. To meet the competition, traditional network airlines are reinventing themselves. They are beginning to restructure, trim unnecessary frills, improve efficiency and raise productivity. Price gaps will narrow. This will eventually blur the lines between traditional full service and low cost carriers. Participants at this conference will also be able to hear more about Simplifying the Business initiative launched by IATA in order to reduce costs and enhance service.
This conference is organised under the auspices of Ministry of Transport, Posts and Telecommunications of the Slovak Republic.
