CEE Railways 2009

Ensuring the CEE Railway sector stays on the right track

27th & 28th April 2009
Rin Grand Hotel, Bucharest, Romania

Like many global Industries, Railway transport is experiencing a critical era of change and development. Rising fuel prices coupled with the worldwide energy crisis have led these transport sectors to radically re-asses the ways in which they operate. Increased emphasis is now being given to the significance of transport integration as well as the importance of developing practical, sustainable and environmentally sensitive infrastructure that will ensure the future of CEE Railways remains safe, clean and economically viable.

In an industry that is being ever more geared towards such sustainability, the CEE Railways sector currently has the opportunity to utilise its strategic advantages as a comparatively environmentally friendly transport mode in a shifting marketplace.

Nowhere are these changes more evident than in Central and Eastern Europe, where sector reforms have been put in place to guarantee the region not only has equitable conditions for participation in an expanding European and global market, but is in fact one of the world’s most forward looking and dynamic land transport marketplaces.

This landmark era in the CEE Railways sector has led to a wealth of new opportunities within the industry that are currently open to exploration. De-regulation and a mass of new infrastructure have created an exciting and emergent region that is integrating its transportation industries across many of the districts borders, completely revitalising the sector, and paving the way for an exciting and viable future.

It is thanks to these overwhelming market forces that EastEuro Link is proud to announce its 5th annual CEE Railways 2009 Conference being held in the beautiful Rin Grand Hotel, Bucharest, Romania
