Matt began his career working for 7 years as a design engineer with the communication-satellite maker Spar Aerospace Ltd. in Montreal, Canada. Subsequently, he spent 3 years managing construction and operation of a telecom network serving multinational oil companies in West Africa. In 1997 Matt moved to the Silicon Valley, California, where he worked during the 1997-2001 dot-com boom in various management positions for two datacom equipment makers.
Prior to joining IPEC Group, Matt - as a director of the California based CIS Commerce, Inc.- was developing a market for US-made telecom products in the former Soviet Union by leveraging his experience in complex emerging markets.
Matt is a native of Slovakia and an American citizen. In 1986 he received a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from the Concordia University in Montreal, Canada and in 2001 an MBA degree from the Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. Matt’s fluency in several languages and familiarity with many cultures greatly facilitates his communication throughout the North America, Europe, and many fast-growing economies.
